My name is Gianna Cook, and I am an artist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a minor in Entrepreneurship from Midwestern State University. In the summer of 2022, I had the opportunity to study abroad at Queen Mary University of London, where I focused on art for a month-long program. My BFA includes a major emphasis in Sculpture and a minor emphasis in Metals, though my academic journey has allowed me to explore a wide range of artistic disciplines, shaping me into a versatile and well-rounded artist.
Art has been a lifelong passion of mine, nurtured by inspiring teachers and professors who introduced me to influential artists such as Louise Nevelson, Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Augusta Savage, Matteo Pugliese, Chiharu Shiota, and Louise Bourgeois. Their work, along with the guidance of my mentors, has played a significant role in shaping my creative voice and artistic vision.
